Counter Stool Styles
This is an article that is dedicated to answering any normal and or stupid questions about counter stools.
What is a counter stool? It is a stool that goes under the counter.
Simple as that.
You sit on it, you eat, or do any other kind of activity and then you hop off and go do something else.
The thing is, you end up using this little stool quite a bit, especially when it is used for your counter in your kitchen area.
Some homes have an actual bar area outside of the kitchen in maybe a game room, or out on a patio, so comfort may not be the biggest factor especially if it is used rarely.
Typically these stools will be picked based upon style, design, or just finding the cheapest ones out there.
However, if you are getting stools that are going under your kitchen counter at home you might as well find some decently comfortable ones because chances are you will be using it a lot.
Wooden counter stools are probably the most popular because not only do they look great inside the home, they usually have a cozy inviting feeling to them.
I would advise you get them with backs just in case of extended stays for a period of time on the stool.
They can come with pads or not, i would suggest not only because pads can be easily damaged by reckless kids and are typically much harder to clean then a solid wood surface.
Arm rests are probably not a must since you can always place your arms up onto the counter (despite what mom tells you).
If you are getting counter stools for outside or just for durability's sake then definitely go metal because it is hard to damage those puppies and they can withstand all kinds of weather conditions.
