How to Create Virtual City Software
- 1). Find a virtual city creator program online (see resources.) Most of the programs are freely distributed. City Creator is an online application which you can use to build your city. So is MyMiniCity. CityBuilder is a free program which you need to download and install on your local computer before using it.
- 2). Go to one of the aforementioned websites. Register as a user by entering your email address and password. Choose a city from the list of building styles and click “build” button to start. Drag and drop pieces from the palettes on the left pane of the window. These items include buildings, roofs, people and vehicle, roads and walkways.
- 3). Drag the item to the dumper truck on the bottom right corner of the screen if you no longer need it.
- 4). Click the “Backgrounds” color palette to change the background color of your city.
- 5). Click “Save and Send” to save your virtual city design. Click “Edit city” to edit your existing city. Click “Send as ecard” to send it as an ecard to your friend.
