Devi who is enshrined in holy place was born in south at home of Ratnakar Sagar was named trikuta and later renamed Vaishnavi because her birth was from family of lord Vishnu. She was a divine girl and night before her birth parents were told not to interfere in any of the decisions took by her. Taking permission from her father at age of 9 years he meditated for Lord Rama. When god was finding Sita Mata with his army his eyes fell on the divine girl who was Trikuta. She told lord that he is her husband but Rama told that in this birth he is confined to Sita only and she has to wait till Kalyug when he will take birth as Kalki and marry her till she has to wait at hill of Trikuta Parvat.
Raghunath Temple temple is dedicated to Lord Rama incarnation of Lord Vishnu and whole place is comprised of seven shrines and each has its own Shikara. Divine place was built by Maharaja Gulab Singh and his son Maharaja Ranbir Singh in 1835-1860.
Chichi Mata Temple this is one of the revered sites and is gateway to Vaishno Devi, located in Samba region of Jammu. It is said yatra to Vaishno Devi remains incomplete if one does not pay homage to Chichi Mata darshan.
