• The Drake Hotel is located about a half mile from 909 Michigan Avenue in a historic building that opened in 1920. The 535 guest rooms and 74 suites offer views of the city as well as Lake Michigan. The guest rooms have queen, king and twin bed options, while suites have separate living, dining and/or sitting areas. If staying at The Drake Hotel for business, there is access to meeting rooms, a business center and even an on-site notary. In addition, there is a full fitness center and even a babysitter. Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel

• The Millennium Knicerbocker Hotel also is located about half a mile from 909 Michigan Avenue. This is an ideal hotel for anyone putting on a large meeting or event, as it has 18,000 square feet of customizable event space. The Crystal Ballroom is a well-known meeting spot with an illuminated dance floor, crystal chandeliers and a balcony. Guest rooms are divided in standard, superior, junior suite and one-bedroom suites. A fitness center and a business center, as well as complimentary Internet round out the amenities found here. Raffaello

• Raffaello is a hotel located one block east of 909 Michigan Avenue. The hotel was renovated in 2009 and caters to an upscale crowd. Its 175 guest rooms are all suites in four styles: king, double, deluxe and grand. Windy City Massage delivers massages, manicures and pedicures straight to the rooms. The hotel also has the on-site Sanctuary Spa & Fitness Center, which offers additional treatments and a gym. For those staying on business, all guests have access to a 24-hour business center and can rent out space on the 18th floor meeting and conference center, which can handle small and medium groups and events. On the roof, there is an open air deck and garden open during the spring and summer. The Pelajo is the hotel's restaurant, available to guests and locals alike.
