How to Share Music Using Google Talk
- 1). Turn on your computer and log in. Start the Google Talk software by clicking the "Start" button, then "Programs," "Google" and "Google Talk." (Mac users click the Google Talk icon in the dock or in the "Go>Applications" window.)
- 2). Double-click a friend or contact you want to share files with to initiate a chat session. Inform your friend of your intentions (she will have to accept the transfer before it can be successfully completed).
- 3). Click the "Send Files" button. Navigate to the folder with the music you wish to share. Select the file or files you want to transfer, then click "OK." When your friend accepts the transfer, the file or files will begin to upload.
- 4). Wait for the transfer bar to reach 100 percent. You may continue to chat with your friend while the file or files are in transit.
