Dirty Soap was a reality series that followed the lives of soap opera stars. Dirty Soap provided a behind-the-scenes look at the lives of daytime stars. Although producers hoped Dirty Soap had cross-over appeal, it failed to draw both soap and reality TV fans.

Dirty Soap premiered on September 25, 2011 and was canceled January 25, 2012 after one season.

Dirty Soap was about the 'off screen' lives of daytime actors and actresses. It is a difficult time to be a soap opera star. Daytime dramas like All My Children were being canceled after four decades on the air leaving soap stars with nowhere to go.

The stars of Dirty Soap were dealing with these life-altering changes in different ways. Those choices, and their real life consequences played out on the reality series.

When Does 'Dirty Soap' Air?:

Dirty Soap aired on E! Sunday nights at 10/9PM Central. Eight episodes of the hour long program were aired in the first and only season.
