Do You Want Success In Your Internet Business?
Do you want to know the secret formula of a successful business? Well, the secret is, there isn't one! Oh, there are many components and I can certainly share some of these with you here, but really if there was a simple formula, then everybody that ever started their own home business would be successful and the simple truth is they are not.
One thing is for certain, you need your business to get exposure. It has to be seen by hundreds of people on a regular basis to guarantee sales. There is no secret that you need to be listed on the Search Engines and the higher up the list you go, the better your chances of success.
How many times have you looked for anything using a search engine? Probably hundreds, but how many times have you gone through more than a couple of pages of the search results? It's just too time consuming, so you probably haven't even got off the first page, so the lucky ones who are there stood a good chance of you, at the very least, looking at their web pages.
The answer, my friends, is keywords! If you haven't done your research the chances are the keywords or keyword phrases you are using to promote your business are not the most popular. One thing that will probably blow you away - I know it did me - is that people misspell popular words and if you include these in your keywords it can explode your business.
One tool you simply must have in your arsenal is Google AdWords Keyword Tool. It's simple to use and can give you top ideas for keyword phrases you might otherwise not have even considered.
To use this, simply type in the space provided your keyword idea, type in the security code and press Get Keyword Ideas. It will then give you a list of related keywords, but then to filter the results provided you have to press Global Monthly Search Volume, one of the sub headings along the top. This will then bring up the most popular recent searches for your chosen keyword.
For instance at the time of writing this I typed in Home Business and sorted the results as above. I was amazed that the top two results were 'Business Home' and 'Home Business'. Now Home Business was no surprise, but would you have thought to put Business Home as a keyword phrase? Me neither. However, you would have been missing out on potential traffic by not using it.
So, using this simple FREE tool will ensure that you have the most searched keywords for your search engine submissions and help you get higher up the rankings. Good luck.
