The Macintosh and eBay Cash
For months I used eBay just to get rid of items around the house and when I found something interesting around town for a song, I bought it and then made a profit on eBay.
It wasn't until I started creating products for sale on eBay that I started to make some good part-time cash.
In the past, I had developed joint ventures with other sellers on the internet as well as created websites to sell products.
You spend time creating a sales page and a product; place your ad and wait.
With eBay, you don't have to mess with all that stuff.
The reason eBay is such a good testing ground is that millions of people are looking on eBay ALL THE TIME.
At any given time, hundreds of thousands of people are searching the vast digital storehouse called eBay.
Now, you've got to use some common sense when you start.
If you search for, say, money-making opportunities or business opportunities, you will find THOUSANDS of ads with NO BIDS! You'll also find HUNDREDS of ads with the EXACT same copy and the EXACT same photo advertising the EXACT same thing.
Can you make a profit like this? Ain't likely.
Now, if you search for say, Saladmaster, you'll find a number of ads, but almost all of them have bids and make profits.
The difference is that people WANT Saladmaster cookware because of the quality.
In the case of the Saladmaster cookware, you've got to have a set to sell to make money.
If you create a product on your Macintosh, all you need is an idea.
What if you like to bake cakes? What if you created a DVD or if you just had a combo-drive, an audio CD, along with pictures of your cake designs? You would probably have a better shot at making a few bucks making a product about what you know than trying to sell something everyone has.
In my case, I came from the entertainment industry.
I started performing as a magician, and then did a comedy mind-reading act, then family entertaining.
I created a manual for magicians on how to market their acts.
After that, I created a series of CD sets that explained my family act, my after dinner act, my school show act, and other performances.
The acts have sold on eBay for from $25.
00 to $170.
00 and all places in between.
But for two hours work a week; I get $400 - $600 consistently.
And I am creating more products all the time.
Listen.
This eBay sales' test is JUST ONE of MANY ways to make cash with your Macintosh-created products.
This way of selling an information product is a simple, easy way to get started if you are starting from ground zero.
