Teleseminars - 2 Steps For Greater Success in Your Teleseminar Marketing

103 9
There are countless ways to gain visibility and position your expert status specific to your teleseminars.
Article writing, guest appearances on web radio and social media marketing to name just a few.
An aspect of your social media marketing is your involvement in forums.
To get the most out of time invested in forums you must make sure you are strategic in your approach.
Granted, there are countless reasons people will join forums for both personal and professional reasons.
However, if you are using forums in your overall marketing system then you need to make sure your time is well invested.
Answer this...
Are the members consistent with your target market? Is it an active forum? Do members participate in discussions? Are there more than a handful of members? Are discussions worthwhile or frivolous? Once you determine a specific forum is a good choice to put time into there are two things you need to do.
Be consistent Schedule in a few minutes daily to visit your chosen forums.
Say you have 3 forums you are involved with, you can put time into one or two daily to keep your involvement fresh.
For example, I add my top 3 forums to my daily to-do list.
They are at the top of the list which encourages me to do a bit of forum posting before anything else.
This has made a huge difference in my continued presence in the forums of choice.
When you find an interesting discussion, you can request to follow the discussion.
This makes your response time to discussion topics and comments from others even faster.
Each time you see something new has been posted you can pop right over to the forum and, if appropriate, leave another comment.
However, you don't need to respond to ever single comment.
That can be a huge time waster.
Notice what's working As with any part of your teleseminar marketing you need to know what is and is not working.
If you don't know which forums are generating interest in your teleseminars, then you don't know how best to use your time.
You may be spending a great deal of time on one particular forum, thinking that it is giving you results, but in fact, your traffic is coming from somewhere else.
Other than weblogs one way to track what's working is anything you offer in your sig file (signature file) in a particular forum can be tracked to that forum by a tracking URL.
Participating in forums is a great way to grow the ranks of your teleseminar participants.
And yet, if you are not consistent and strategic you likely won't see the results that someone who is very focused on forums as a marketing strategy for teleseminars would be.
Bottom line, be strategic.
