How to Register an SBR
- 1). Compose a statement of intent, outlining how your organization will use the software under the SBR program. Contact the Australian Department of Treasury by email. Request a sublicense agreement.
- 2). Register the name and address of your company with the treasury department. Submit the statement of intent via email.
- 3). Sign and date the sublicense agreement signifying that you will use the SBR program and software to provide accounting and payroll services to your clients. Mail or scan the agreement into a PDF file. Send a signed copy of the agreement to the department.
- 4). Register for SBR program testing to access the testing suite package and to comply with departmental regulations. Review the testing credentials and activities. Complete all activities before seeking eligibility for self-certification as a software developer.
- 5). Contact the department after self-certification to request permission to use the SBR Partner Mark artwork. Review and complete the required checklist for accessing and using the mark.
- 1). Agree to use the SBR Channel and third-party SBR-enabled software for governmental reporting and transmission purposes.
- 2). Consent to indemnify the Australian government against loss, damage, breach or liability due to problems with performance of the SBR software and channel.
- 3). Accept the Australian government's right to amend the terms of the end user agreement. Sign and date the agreement digitally.
