Choosing Memory Foam Mattresses

One of the best mattresses in the world is the memory foam mattress which is great for relieving back pain and neck pain.
It is the reason it was first adopted for use in hospitals after its invention by NASA in the 1970s.
They started being a huge trend in the market in the 90s after the improvement of the 70s invention by the addition of chemicals that changed the density.
However, choosing one which suited one's budget became the issue, and is still the issue to this day.
Some of the factors that should be considered when choosing for yourself include the following: Foam density - this ensures that you have one that will last you years.
it is very durable for this reason.
When buying, do not fall for the marketing gimmicks that claim that the it has 5 lb density while they do not specify that this is only the density of one inch.
Most of the time, they have mixed densities with the first being more dense than the rest of the mattress which is usually 2-3 lb density.
The least the density, the less long-lasting it will be.
Look for the indentation load deflection measurement, which should be between 10 and 16.
Such mattresses will ensure that the mattress is a lot more comfortable.
The layers in between the foam will help relieve the pressure points and ensure that you are more comfortable all through the night.
Keep in mind the pressure of the mattress; specifically its mmHg measurement.
Choose one that is 32 mmHg or less to ensure that you are not turning all through the night to find a position with less pressure.
anything that has a measurement of more than 32 mmHg will place a lot of pressure on your body because they can be hard and uncomfortable.
Buyers favor mattresses which have been made in the west, since they are less likely to use hazardous materials in the manufacture of their mattresses.
Most of the chemicals that have been used to make foam in some countries have been linked to diseases and with the lack of regulation in some industries there is no chance of getting one that will not be hazardous to your health.
Last but not least, look for one that is cheap enough, one you will not have to break the bank to get.
of course, be careful not to compromise on any of the qualities mentioned above.
