While using a travel agent may make your travel planning so much easier, many are now opting to plan their own vacations allowing them to save tons of money that can be better used for fun excursions once they arrive at their travel destination.
While some seem to have a natural knack for finding the best travel deals on and off the web, others may feel like they are intimidated with so much information that they find it hard to determine the facts from the lies.
I used to struggle to find the best possible rates on my flight and hotels that would allow me to fly cheapest and stay for the cheapest rate possible without sacrificing quality.

They tend to not offer these specials unless you ask about them.
Call your destination site directly and  don't forget to ask about package deals.
Several popular tourist areas do have package deals or will work with you to make one for you.
It may take a little extra work on your part but is well worth the savings in the long run.
Travel agents are not your only option when trying to find the cheapest trip.
