How to Fix Your Xbox With Zone Cheater
- 1). Insert the USB flash drive into one of the USB sockets on the Xbox. Turn the Xbox on. Navigate to System settings/Memory/Hard drive/Profiles, with the direction pad of the controller.
- 2). Choose the profile that will be changed from the list of choices onscreen. Select "Copy." Press the "X" button. Shut down the Xbox once the copy has been made to USB flash drive. Remove the USB flash drive from the Xbox and plug it into a USB port on the computer.
- 3). Download an Xbox profile changing program, for example, Le Fluffe (see Resources.) Double-click the file after it has downloaded to decompress it to a program on the desktop. Double-click the program to launch it.
- 4). Click the "File" tab at the top of the program's main window. Select "Open File" from the drop down menu.
- 5). Click on the icon of the USB flash drive in the left column of the window that appears. Select the profile to the right of the icon. Click the "Open" button at the window's bottom.
- 6). Click on the "Profile" tab at the top of the window that is now onscreen. Click the "Zone" box. Select any setting, other than "Cheater," from the drop down menu. Click "Apply" at the bottom of the window.
- 7). Click "Rebuild" on the program's main window that is still onscreen. Quit the program once the window disappears. Shut down the computer.
- 8). Insert the USB flash drive into one of the USB sockets on the Xbox. Turn the Xbox on. Navigate to System settings/Memory/Hard drive/Profiles, with the direction pad of the controller.
- 9). Choose the USB flash drive; icon on the screen. Select "Copy." Press the "X" button. Shut down the Xbox once the profile has been copied to the Xbox.
