Instructions for the Disney Version of the Game Sorry
- 1). Shuffle the deck of cards, and place them face down in the middle of the board.
- 2). Place four movers of the same color and type -- for each player -- on the "Start" space of the corresponding color.
- 3). Place one of each player's movers on the entry circle. A player can only have one mover on this space at any time.
- 4). Decide who will go first and continue clockwise around the board.
- 5). Take your turn. Take a card from the top of the deck in the middle of the board and follow the instructions. You can move any mover that is on the play spaces or entry circle. To move a mover out of the "Start" space and onto the entry circle, a 1 or 2 must be drawn. If you can move, you must, even if it's a disadvantage to you. If you cannot move, your turn is over. At the end of your turn, place the card in a discard pile. If you run out of cards, shuffle the discard pile and place them back in the middle of the board.
- 6). Move around the board, trying to get all of your pieces to the "Home" space. You must draw the exact number it takes to get your piece home. If another mover is in your way, you can "jump" over it, counting that space as one. If another player's mover is on the spot that you will land on, you must "bump" it, which sends that player's mover back to "Start". If your only option is to move your mover to a space another one of your movers occupy, you must forfeit your turn.
- 7). Move your mover ahead and send any mover in the way -- including your own -- back to "Start" if you land on the beginning of a "Slide" space that is not your color. If the slide is your own color, don't do anything.
- 8). Enter the "Safety Zone" of your own color, only on a forward move. To leave the "Safety Zone," you may move backward.
