  Visitors flock to Sin City each year to gamble, party and get some sun. • This all-suite hotel is located just four miles south of Mandalay Bay, the southern anchor of the Las Vegas Strip. The Emerald Suites welcomes cats and dogs for $25 a day. No pets are allowed to be left unattended in their rooms unless they are kenneled, and a maximum of two pets are allowed. Hotel amenities at the Emerald Suites include a fitness facility, heated pool and laundry facilities. Guest rooms are either one- or two-bedroom suites, and guests will have free Internet and cable access during their stay.

The Westin Casuarina

• The Westin Casuarina is just one block from the Las Vegas Strip, and is home to a casino and spa. Pets less than 40 lbs. are always welcome, and pets greater than 40 lbs. may be allowed with pre-approval from the hotel. Upon arrival, you pet will receive a bed, food bowl and mat. Guests with pets are required to pay a $150 damage deposit and a nonrefundable $35 cleaning fee, as of 2010. Amenities at the hotel include an outdoor heated pool, 24-hour room service and a steam room. Guest rooms feature 250-thread-count sheets and down comforters.

Howard Johnson Inn

• This hotel makes its home on the north end of the Las Vegas Strip. Pets are allowed to stay for $30 per night, as of 2010. The Howard Johnson Inn features a wedding chapel, lounge serving Cuban cuisine and an Olympic-size outdoor swimming pool, among other amenities.
