• Like its name implies, Sun Valley is a cooperative campground with sites available for purchase, with prices ranging from $33,000 to $79,000. The facilities include cabin and trailer sites, as well as offers swimming, a new 20-foot water slide, kayak rentals, tennis courts and much more.

Branch Brook Campground

• Branch Brook Campground is located in Thomaston, Conn., and offers an array of wooded tent sites, as well as full RV hook-up sites. The campground itself boasts free Wi-Fi, a playground, swimming pool and small fishing pond. Although there is not a waterslide on-site, Lake Compounce Family Theme Park is within a short drive of the campground. The park is one of the oldest amusement parks in the country and offers a plethora of waterslides, outdoor swimming attractions and rides such as roller coasters.
