ClickBank Affiliate Marketing Secrets

ClickBank is world's largest retailer of online digital products.
In the past ten year nearly 1.
5 billion dollars of products have been sold there.
Someone is making a lot of money! Actually that money is spread around quite a bit, but there is a group of savvy entrepreneurs who are making a killing there.
One can make money through ClickBank in one of two ways: First, selling other people's products as an affiliate, or--by selling one's own products.
These two methods are closely intertwined for the experts there.
Suppose you develop an eBook or set of ebooks and videos and you decide to try to sell them through ClickBank.
If you are good at driving traffic to your sales page you may make some sales.
You may likely get some affiliates promoting your product as well.
But when products first enter ClickBank they usually end up at the bottom of the heap in whatever category they are in.
They usually end up at the bottom of the last page which is a long way down from where visitors usually look.
The biggest sellers on ClickBank will have from 70-85% of their sales coming from affiliates.
You must give a good commission (50% being the bare minimum while 75% will get you more affiliates).
More often than not, the very biggest super-affiliates on ClickBank have done their own product launches and have had wildly successful sales.
Doing a full-fledged product launch beans that tens-of-thousands--perhaps hundreds of thousands of visitors to your site.
All of the big product vendors have opt-in forms on their sales pages.
They offer bonus ebooks, newsletters, mini-courses, etc.
to visitors who opt in to their lists.
Key Point: Doing a huge product launch is the single fastest way to create a huge mailing list.
Once someone does a successful product launch they now have a big list that they can send emails to and promote other products as an affiliate.
It seems like a Catch 22 situation.
To become a big super-affiliate you need a big list, but to get a big list you need to do a big product launch.
The reason for this is that having a big list gives you leverage.
If you go to another product vendor in your niche and ask hem to promote for you during your launch by sending promotional emails to their list, they will be much more likely to do this if they know you also have a big list and will promote for them for their next big launch.
The key for most beginners is to develop some products and start out with some "soft launches".
Here you may get a few big affiliates to promote for you but a lot of the sales must be once you generate yourself.
But even a few smaller soft launches will grow your list.
Once you get a list of 5,000 names you can begin doing swap mailings with other product vendors and if you promote other people's products to a list of that size you will make some good sales for them.
This does not happen overnight.
It takes time and a concerted effort even for a soft launch--and the big hard launches take an incredible amount of time and effort to orchestrate.
Still, get building that list and make yourself known to the big super-affiliates in your niche.
Promote for them first and they will be much more likely to promote for you when you launch your next product.
