General Hospital Daily Recap for June 9, 2010
Bensonhurst Natives Get Together
Brook Lynn and Sonny meet to talk about the old neighborhood, so that Sonny can get caught up on the various people there. He's excited when he finds out that Brook knew Dante growing up. He wants to know all about Dante, and Brook obliges.
Dante is Happy about His New Neighbor; Lulu is More Cautious
Dante is happy to learn from Lulu that Brook Lynn has moved in across the hall.
She can cook and she'll feed him. Lulu doesn't take it so lightly. They will have less privacy and be alone less. She doesn't add that she'll have to listen to Bensonhurst stories until she wants to vomit. Dante is positive that Brook has enough savvy to know when to leave them alone. Lulu receives a phone call - she has to go to work. Later on, Dante hears a knock at the door. It's Brook. Dante is stoked - she's just in time for lunch. When he opens the door, there's Brook Lynn, her body gleaming under a towel.
Carly Encounters Jax, and Then Sonny and Lulu Arguing
Carly is a woman of many agendas. She seems to have planned to run into Jax today, as she's on the street as he is jogging. She claims to have a yoga class. The look on Jax's face indicates that he doesn't believe her. They talk about the kids, and Carly goes on her way. Jax finds the whole thing funny, and no doubt hopeful.
En route to Crimson, Lulu has to pass Sonny. He attempts to talk with her, but she's not intersted. She can't forget that he shot Dante.
Sonny blows up. When is she going to get past it? Lulu counters that it's not something one just gets past. Carly approaches them while this is going on, and Sonny is surprised -- and suspicious -- to see that Carly is friendly toward Lulu. When Lulu walks away, Sonny confronts his ex -- what's she up to?
Lucky Asks for Help in Finding Tracy and Luke; Tracy Tries to Remember the Wedding
When Lucky sees Nikolas on the pier, he tells him that Luke and Tracy are missing, and that he suspects Helena. Nikolas doesn't care, so the two get into an argument. Since Nikolas won't help, Lucky turns to Ethan. Ethan also turns him down. He's not sure Luke is really in trouble, and if he is, he can't believe Lucky would go near the situation.
In the dungeon, Tracy isn't any better. Helena fights with Luke, and in the end, she doesn't help them. Tracy tells Luke that she's trying to remember their wedding. It was in Las Vegas, and they were both smashed. After going over it in her head, Tracy mutters to Luke that the whole thing doesn't seem real.
Patrick's Jealousy Rears its Head; Money is an Issue for Elizabeth
Patrick arrives at GH to perform surgery with Lisa, but Lisa has requested Steve to do it. Steve waves them off; as long as Patrick is there, that's fine. He mentions his friend's biotech company again. Patrick is interested, since Emma will be going to college, and it's going to cost a bomb. Lisa suggests the three of them sit down over dinner to discuss it. Patrick is annoyed; Lisa promised to buy him dinner if he did the surgery. There wasn't any mention of Steve. Lisa is loving this.
Nikolas comes by GH to see Elizabeth, who is with Shirley. Shirley has just sold jewelry to a volunteer, and Elizabeth isn't happy about it. Nikolas explains that he's going to Greece for a few days, which suits Elizabeth fine. After he leaves, Shirley asks why Elizabeth didn't just push Nikolas out a window. Elizabeth answers that she won't be happy until she can be financially independent of Nikolas.
Michael Comes to a Tough Realization; Spinelli's Depression May Lose Him Maxie
At Pentonville, Jason works hard with Michael on his self-defense. Michael wants to know what the hurry is; after all, Jason is there with him. Then the lightbulb goes off. Jason is going to kill Carter, which will mean being sent into solitary confinement. Jason only states that it's important that Michael can protect himself. Jason knows that Carter won't stop harrassing Michael, so Carter has to go.
Diane knocks on the door of Jason's penthouse, yelling for Mr. Grasshopper. Spinelli eventually answers, and he's a depressed blob. He's losing Maxie to Matt, he tells her, because Maxie hopes to get him out of his depression by making him jealous. Evidently, he doesn't plan on doing anything about it. Being truly depressed, it's likely that he can't.
