Best Cruiser E-Bike: Pedego Step Thru Cruiser Balloon Cle

105 8
A cruiser bicycle, also known as a beach cruiser, is a bicycle which combines balloon tires, an upright seating posture, and long curved handlebars. Cruisers are definitely a style statement- we have all seen them cruising up and down beaches and along boardwalks and urban settings. These bikes are a favorite of causal bicyclists and vacation renters because they are stable, easy to ride and the upright posture one assumes while riding one is extremely comfortable and allows for scoping out the local scenery. So, what could possibly be cooler than a cruiser?...yes, you guessed it, an electric cruiser. This is one bicycle that really makes sense to include the e-bike technology. The cruiser was the most popular bicycle in the United states in the 1930s through the 1950's as an answer to a post war economy. The recent comeback of this stylish bicycle can only be enhanced with e-bike technology.

The structure of the Pedego Step Thru Cruiser e-bike, with its substantial weight, wide tires and gooseneck handlebars allows for comfortable commuting and cruising. The upright ergonomic position and the placement of the pedal crank further forward fosters a sitting position that feels much like sitting comfortably in a chair. The upright handlebars prevent wrist stress from bumps or shocks while riding making this extremely comfortable for longer rides. The cruiser is not just the paperboys bike anymore.

The Pedego Classic and Step-through Cruiser is fun to ride. There are a number of fun color choices to choose from. The bike is extremely strong and the motor amazingly quiet. The battery pack and the wires are integrated for a clean and simple line and protection of the electrical parts getting damaged.
The brushless non-geared 500w motor is built right into the rear hub and provides lots of power for hills and heavier loads. The placement of the motor and the battery pack at the rear of the bike makes the weight distribution great for long rides and allows the cruiser to easily climb hills. The non-geared motor is quiet when coasting and less prone to wear. While some did not like the lack of pedal assist, we found it completely unnecessary as the throttle allows for complete speed control. This combination of technical features and comfort make the Pedego Cruiser a perfect choice for bike rental companies or less tech savvy users.
