These four-or five-week introductory courses allow students with no previous experience to explore different media with other first-time artists. Learn new techniques in a no-pressure environment. Please note that these classes are open to beginners only and there is a limit of 2 sessions per student. Another great class is Ceramics. Lillstreet's long-established clay department offers classes for the total beginner, casual novice or advanced student. Start with the basics of handbuilding and wheelthrowing while you work your way up to creating platters, bowls, teapots, sets on trays, and more. Take advantage of our 200 glaze combinations, firing, and state-of-the art equipment.

Beginning classes introduce students to the study of visual arts, and encourage the development of technical skill and personal creativity. Advanced students will refine their skill, enabling their own artistic vision while encouraging their dedication to studio practice. One can also look to dabble in the Digital Arts and Photography. This is Lillstreet's newest department! Digital Arts offer exciting opportunities to explore technology and digital media as a artistic outlet. This spring we offer our first classes in Digital Photography. Over the summer and fall, our offerings will expand to include other digital media.
