How to Get a Ho-Oh in "Diamond"
- 1). Insert a Game Boy Advance "Pokemon" game, such as "LeafGreen," "Ruby" or "Sapphire," into the Nintendo DS's GBA slot.
- 2). Turn on the DS and go to the "Diamond" main menu screen.
- 3). Select the "Migrate" option.
- 4). Choose six Pokemon to migrate to "Diamond." Include Ho-Oh in this group.
- 5). Begin your saved "Diamond" game file.
- 6). Travel to Pal Park in southwest Sinnoh. To reach this zone, surf south from Sandgem Town to reach Route 220. Then, surf east on Route 220 until you reach Route 221. Pal Park is in the east section of Route 221. If you've previously visited the park, you can fly there on one of your Pokemon.
- 7). Chat with the Pal Park attendant. He will allow you to enter the park's Catching Show.
- 8). Walk north from the Pal Park entrance gate, and follow the path of trees that leads northeast.
- 9). Explore the tall grass in this area until you encounter Ho-Oh. Ho-Oh is a very rare Pokemon, so it may take a while to appear.

Throw a Park Ball to capture Ho-Oh. Park Balls have a 100 percent chance of capturing their target, so you won't have to battle Ho-Oh before attempting to catch it.
