The other day I received a letter from a woman, who was in one of my downlines asking for help!

She wrote that she had been running her home business [http://www.work-from-home-dot-com.com] for a short while and was just starting to see some success from her marketing, when her husband became ill.

She went on to say that she really believed in the idea that she was going to make alot of money from her home business, but because of her husbands illness, she was unable to invest in any more marketing of her online business.

She had also mentioned that she had contacted other`s in her upline and none had offered her any assistance.

I had to stop for a minute after reading her email. I was pretty "Ticked Off" that she had been having a hard time, because of the situation with her husband and none of these other`s would offer her any advice or their experiences to help her out.

I could tell from her email, that she was feeling desperate and ready to give up her hopes of making money with a home business. And we all know what that means.

She would have to go back to the daily 9 to 5 and abandon any dreams of ever being financially free. She would probably have to work a few job`s to help pay for her husbands medical expenses only to live her life in endless debt.

I am a firm believer in helping your downline and when others can get people to sign up or join their affiliate program, but than just ignore them when they ask for help...it makes me mad.

Are those people in her upline idiot`s? I mean, in order to have a successful home business you have to help out your downline..If they are`nt having success or have question`s that are`nt answered their going to get frustrated and quit.

And any intelligent home business owner knows that in order to have a strong downline and 99% of home business opportunities employ some kind of downline or matrix...You need to help them out. You don`t just get them to join and turn your backs on them!

So, I thought to myself what plan of action would I take if I were on a limited budget to market my home business?

Okay, I told her to go to blogger and register for a free blog. Than I mentioned to choose a name that was targeted for her visitors or future customers.

Start writing posts every day, religously on running a home business, affiliate, mlm, internet marketing topics` etc., etc. And if she didn`t feel like she had enough experience to share with other`s than she should start reading home business articles to get information and topics to write about.

I mentioned that she should sign up for Google`s Adsense program for free. Blogger makes it easy to incorporate it into her blog for and additional revenue.

Next, I told her to join Profitrally.com for free and join every free traffic exchange in there and start surfing for free credits. I also told her to rotate her home business and profitrally links, so when others joined profitrally through her link and surfed she would get free traffic credits to her home business site.

Than, I stressed the importance of writing and submitting article`s to the free article directories, to start getting backlinks to her website. There are many article directories that were craving fresh content and this is viral advertising at it`s best.

You can`t beat free!

Than, I told her to join link metro for free and start exchanging links with other relevant sites so the search engines will increase her home business websites page rank over time and start sending free traffic her way.

I mentioned she could also setup a free wordpress blog on a related topic as her blogger blog to give her a 1-2 punch!

Now, Im not going to say I have all the answers when it comes to free internet marketing. For every suggesstion I gave her someone else would have a different spin on things. But the difference is that I would stand up and help someone out with their dreams of running a home business.
