A great tennis player will always do some or even all of the following points that I will discuss in this article.

During your research it's imperative to find out what their good and bad points are for each competitor.

When you know what their good points are, then make a plan of how you might compete against these good points.

When you know what their bad points are, then make a plan of how you might take advantage of their weakness during competition.

If you know your competition's bad points then you can attack those points thus giving you the ultimate advantage for your to win.

You should find out if the competition is the type of player that is nervous, gets emotional, calm, defensive or aggressive.
Once you know this then you can make a strategy on how to cope with all these things even before the competition.

Never get intimidated by anybody.
Just make the best plan possible by knowing everything that you can about each competitor and then rehearse in advance all possible scenarios and problems in advance.
8.
Expect everything but don't get hung up on anything.
Be aware of what can happen, make a plan and then execute your plan in the best way that you can and that is all you can do.
