What to Get a Horse Owner for Their Birthday

Having horses has meant that over the years I've had more horse owner friends than not.
This must be because we have a lot in common and we spend a large amount of time together but this also means that I have more and more people to buy for at Christmas and on their birthdays.
Horse owners can be difficult to purchase for in many ways; horses are expensive to keep so you often find that it's often reasonably wealthy people who have horses.
This obviously means that they often get anything they need or desire so there isn't much left for you to purchase for their birthday.
At least you can purchase something for their horse or for their riding which is always nice.
If people have a hobby or passion it's nice to have it recognised with a gift for your birthday.
If you're in this situation and you don't know what to get them I've written the following article just for you.
I hope you find it interesting.
Firstly before you think about what you're going to get them you need to consider what your budget is; are you just buying a token gesture? Are you buying something expensive because they are a close friend? Once you've done this you can then consider what to get them.
If you've got a large budget you may wish to consider the following.
If your friend goes competing they may really appreciate show sheets.
They can be lovely and smart and everyone wants to look smart when they arrive at their competition.
Competitions can be stressful and it's nice to feel smart and prepared for anything if you have something new one.
Show sheets can be expensive but you can also get them for very little money in your local sale so watch out.
If you haven't got a lot of money to spend and you just want a token gesture to acknowledge you know it's their birthday have you thought about getting stirrup accessories? They can be very cheap but they always come in handy and further more they can really complete your appearance at a competitions.
Don't forget that often horse owners would prefer a gift for their horse rather than themselves so you can purchase anything from stirrup accessories to headcollars to stable toys so you can always think outside the box.
I hope you've found the following article informative and useful.
Don't forget that if you're stuck for ideas your local saddlery or an online saddlery will enable you to browse at your leisure and find something which is perfect.
