How Do I Put Air in Ford Motor Home Tires?
- 1). Look at the sticker on the inside of the driver's side door where near where the door latches onto the motor home body. The sticker will tell you how much pressure should be in each tire.
The maximum load that your tires can carry is located on the sidewall of each tire. However, this maximum load is only effective if the tires are fully inflated according to the driver's side sticker. Make sure you do not exceed the maximum load by consulting your owner's manual. The manual will tell you what the actual load (the amount of weight riding on each tire) is on each tire, so you can ensure that you have the proper tires installed at the right air pressure. - 2). Unscrew the tip on the end of each tire valve and attach the air compressor hose.
- 3). Turn on the air compressor and fill the tire to just above the recommended pressure. Some air will come out when you remove the air compressor hose from the valve, which will bring the pressure down slightly.
- 4). Screw the valve cap back on and repeat for the rest of the tires.
