Holdem Tactics - How To Bet Against Anyone With Any Cards And Win

103 23
These Holdem tactics are evil and underground.
They enable you to be able to beat practically anyone with any cards.
You won't believe this.
Holdem Tactics 1 - The Strategy You're going to create a very tight table reputation/image and then play practically any cards you want.
This works because everyone still thinks you're only playing really tight cards but in fact you are slipping through anything.
You'll be establishing an aggressive betting strategy and then recreating this to mask the strength of your hands.
Holdem Tactics 2 - Setting Up Your Rep And Image Basically, sit down at a table and start playing.
Fold any poor hole cards.
Only play really good - the top eschelon of hole cards - whenever you can.
Don't play marginal hands.
Holdem Tactics 3 - Showing Your Cards It is critical you show your cards to people.
What you really want is to go to a showdown with someone, and then show pocket aces or pocket kings and absolutely slam them.
It will still work though if they had a lucky draw and you just show you had aces or kings.
Holdem Tactics 4 - Creating The Baseline Bet Also, you are going to create a baseline bet.
It can be something like three times the big blind or four times the big blind.
The trick is, when you play your great hole cards, only bet this amount.
So this will be your signature bet when you have really great cards.
Also, after the flop and turn bet this exact same amount all the time.
Holdem Tactics 5 - The Turning Point There will be a turning point.
I find its about two or three wins with showing your cards at the showdown.
This will be when everyone has accepted you are a tight aggressive player.
You sit and wait for good cards, then bet your standard amount.
They think they have you padded down.
Holdem Tactics 6 - Loosening Up This is where you get tricky.
You play cards that aren't perfect pockets.
Make sure you space this out though.
If you are doing it every single hand it's too obvious.
But yes you can play some pretty poor cards, like weak marginals, and get away with it.
You'll also find if an ace drops on the flop they'll be really scared of you.
It's important to always bet that exact same amount.
You need to mimic your betting strategy perfectly and seem like exactly the same style of player.
Holdem Tactics 7 - Re-Showing The Prize It's important to also continue playing any great cards you get, like king-ace suited.
And it's even more important to try to show these cards to everyone.
So whenever you get really great cards make sure your opponents get to see it.
Likewise, if you can, and this generally happens anyways, you don't want to show your bluff cards to your opponents.
The idea is that they will fold before the showdown.
And if they don't you might have to, to save yourself throwing everything down the drain.
Holdem Tactics 8 - How To Win It's best if you incorporate this into a lot of other strategies.
For example, it's easier to first start of the loose players in late position, because you can gauge their responses.
Also increasing aggression is another helpful strategy when you want to put the pressure on.
Keep with the idea of this though.
First increase aggression when you have the really good cards - and show them! Then, do it with the poor cards.
