The Costa del Sol has been nicknamed in recent years the Costa del Golf. The reason for this being the number of courses that have been built in this particular part of Spain. Within a small radius of the town of Marbella visitors to the area have access to around 50 different courses. All of which are able to cater to the needs of golf players of various skill levels.

As a result of these events taking place here the game of golf has been taken to new heights on Spain's Costa del Sol.
