In addition, and very important, is that you'll have to go outside ( think outside the box ) of your company or system your using for additional help in mastering that strategy.
That's what almost every successful affiliate marketer has done and continues to do in order to receive the big affiliate residual income checks.
As appealing as a "one stop shop" company or system sounds, it will never be the cure all end all to your success.
Following Up Following up with your prospects is one that I cannot emphasize enough.
I'm sure you heard the expression "the fortune is in the follow-up," right? Well, that is so true.
I'm now thinking about the times I lost out on opportunities with a company or a prospect because I dropped the ball in follow-up; it's painful! You see, now with the internet age, it's more important now more than ever to follow-up with prospects.
Of course, sending e-mails alone to your prospects won't cut it regarding follow-up; you must get on that phone too! You must stop listening to the brainwashing and down right lies about how you can hide behind your monitor and make bundles of money on autopilot without talking to anyone.
Affiliate residual income will NEVER materialize on e-mails alone.
Testing and Tracking Now that you're driving traffic and following up with your prospects full out, now you need to test and track all of your affiliate marketing activity.
If you're not testing and tracking your results, how will you know what's working and what's not? What to discard and what to keep as a campaign? So, implement the testing and tracking tools that your company or system provides, and as you're growing, if you need advanced tools to track your results, and your company doesn't provide it, search elsewhere.
