- Wisconsin Dells self-proclaimed title, "The Waterpark Capital of the World," derives from the high concentration of water parks within the city limits. Wisconsin Dells water parks are in the city's eastern region and Lake Delton area. Some of Wisconsin Dells water parks are indoor facilities, which allows for year-round water park activities.
