Statin Drug Alternatives - Lower Your Heart Attack Risk With These 2 Proven Tips

101 5
Heart disease is the number one killer in the US by far. What's strange is as technology and modern medicine progress you'd think heart disease rates would decrease.

FACT: Back in the early 1900's consumption of beef, dairy and saturated fats were much higher than today however the incidence of death from heart disease was much lower. Our low fat, high sugar and high carb diet seems to have triggered more heart disease than ever.

What is being revealed is that high cholesterol level from consuming saturated fats is not the key variable in our risk of getting heart disease. In fact high cholesterol a very misleading indicator for heart disease as many people with very low LDL cholesterol are susceptible to arterial plaque build up just the same.

...So how does modern medicine deal with the increasing tend of deadly heart disease?

Big pharmaceutical companies spend millions of dollars marketing dangerous Statin drugs which do more harm than good to the majority that take them. It is well documented that these cholesterol lowering drugs may only help roughly 6% of the patients that take them and cause potentially dreadful side effects from horrible muscle cramps, nausea, and severe memory loss!

The marketing of these drugs is slick, professional and convincing. Bottom line is you don't need them and can substantially lower your risk for heart disease and arterial clogging by simple diet awareness.

That being said...

Tip #1 - Lower, or eliminate from your diet anything that spikes blood sugar - When blood sugar spikes you raise inflammation in the body. Without going into a biology lesson, just realize there is a high correlation between chronic high blood sugar levels and chronic inflammation. Inflammation is a key variable in arterial damage. Over time chronic inflammation triggers biochemical reactions that attack the interior lining of your arterial walls.

Imagine a smooth plastic pipe... now imagine scrubbing the inside of the pipe with abrasive steel wool. Imagine the interior of your arteries being "roughed up", much like the pipe, by chronic inflammation.

You see cholesterol will not stick to smooth tissue, however it will stick to damaged "Velcro" like tissue as it is much easier to lodge artery clogging deposits to.

Tip #2 - Eliminate or greatly reduce sugar and simple carbs - these two foods raise blood sugar the most and consequently raise inflammation in the body. This means cut out any products with table sugar, or sugar substitutes like high fructose corn syrup, which raises blood sugar just as much. Read labels. Avoid sugars.

This means reducing or eliminating white flour products like bread and pasta. White rice as well. These foods absolutely flood your system with sugar and spike inflammation over time ravaging your arteries.

So as you can see, damaged arteries are the root cause of heart disease and arterial plaque build up not just the consumption of saturated fats. Statin drugs sidestep the real issue and should be avoided at all costs.

These two simple tips are the basis for naturally lowering risk for heart disease, however there is much more "detail" regarding WHAT to eat to prevent inflammation and arterial build up. Your awareness of the problem is the first step...think "root cause" not just fixing the symptoms!

So...

Why not get a detailed and structured plan to live by and prevent more potential coronary damage?
