Get Rich Rapidly or Get Rich Slow - Which Is Better?

Sometimes, to get rich too fast can cause problems, however getting rich slowly is not always exciting, nor inspiring.
The problems you can come up against when getting rich too quick are varied, but typically, people who stumble upon a good idea and make it work become overwhelmed by their success and the growth of their business.
You may think this would be normal and nothing out of the ordinary for a person to be overwhelmed.
The biggest side effect of this is going crazy with the money and suddenly buying a whole new lavish lifestyle.
The problem with that usually, is the individual may neglect their tax obligations.
If you develop a business that grows exponentially over a short time frame, you may need to be very self controlled in regards to your capital earnings.
A large tax bill not planned for can really be a downer.
The other side of the coin, to get rich slow, well that doesn't excite me very much.
The idea of working 40 years in a day job and squirelling away savings to invest in real estate or mutual funds can be daunting when you look at those 40 years of work laid out before you.
The idea of developing a killer business model and working hard to make that plan come to pass, to me seems a lot more exciting.
My conclusion, is whether you get rich quick or get rich slow, they are the same in terms of making a value judgement.
But they are both the same in the sense that you will put in an amazing amount of work in, to get that wealth.
The get rich slow style of wealth, you don't work very hard every day in your day job (who does) but you will sustain that effort over a very very long period of time.
On the other hand the get rich rapidly style of thinking, you will put in a tremendous amount of energy into your activities and quite likely utilize the leverage of a work force to generate your wealth.
So either way, both will take work.
