  1. The first thing I noticed was that the most successful entrepreneurs were all dreamers.
    That's right, they all had this dream in their head on how to solve a problem or make life better for all on this earth.
    Some people told them it was crazy while others supported them and even others joined their team.
    Most people see problems every day...
    entrepreneurs see solutions.
    Sometimes you hear their ideas and wonder why you didn't think of that years ago.
    A former business owner, now retired with time and financial freedom, spoke to us about his dream and never giving up.
    He also told us about the price he paid for success.
  2. Self starter - You've heard the expression "Ideas are a dime a dozen".
    Well, I'm not sure they are still that inexpensive, but the point is that without taking massive action on an idea, they're pretty much worthless.
    How many times have you heard someone tell you that they had this or that great idea? I couldn't even tell you how many times I have heard that.
    They even had it before someone else.
    But they never took action.
    Most successful entrepreneurs take action.
    They understand that it's okay to fail so they might as well get to success or failure (as soon as possible).
    It's in failure that we learn soooo much, right? The worst thing you can do is stand still.
    Since the world is moving so fast, standing still is falling behind.
    You'll never be in the same spot a year from now.
    You'll either be in a better spot or a worse one, you choose.
    Failing and failing fast can be just the thing you need in order to succeed.
    Story after story I heard about entrepreneurs failing and out of failure came the "BIG idea" or the learning lesson they needed to propel themselves to the next level.
    Again, most successful entrepreneurs take action right away.
  3. The third and final quality of this article is about relationships.
    Great entrepreneurs know and value the importance of building relationships all day everyday.
    They know that they can never do it all alone, so they spend the time it takes to invest in and build great relationships.
    Relationship builders know that it doesn't cost a lot to send a thank you message, electronic or by card.
    Relationship builders get to know people and get to know about their family.
    Relationship builders know that one of the cornerstones of success is that you can't do it on your own.
    The person who builds the best team will win!! Subconsciously you attract the best people by being a person that those people want to be around; not by just having the best idea.
All in all I had attended a wonderful event.
It was worth double in wisdom the price I paid in dollars.
I learned so much and I just loved being around other entrepreneurs.
I love that kind of energy.
I love the level of excitement, the level of enthusiasm, and hearing the lessons learned.
It's probably unlikely that every entrepreneur will be successful with their current venture.
But with some tenacity it is definitely possible.
Hmmmm...
