When I posted the results of this survey on a networking forum for small business owners, one of the responses was, "This is the start of something great for small and online businesses.
Now the only issue for small biz owners is to get respect, trust and loyalty!" My answer?The way to get respect, trust and loyalty is one word: Credibility.
If you come across as credible to your prospects and you continue to build that credibility in all your communication with them, you'll not only end up with happy customers, you'll get repeat customers who refer you to others, as well.

Credibility is about giving good customer service, even before someone is a customer.

Think the mega marts are concerned when one person goes across the parking lot to the next store? Nah.
But for many solo professionals, we get excited about even one new customer interested in our products and services.
That one person can lead to big things for a small business owner.
So it's important to treat everyone right and build your credibility with each person you come across.

Repeat Business:
One happy client is likely to return with checkbook in hand over and over again.
If you continually provide good service, you'll get a customer (and that customer's fees) for life.

When I am thrilled with a product or service, I tell people about it.
One happy client can bring you loads of referral business.
And referrals of course are the best kind of prospectsbecause they already have been told how fabulous you are! 3.

One happy customer who works in a complimentary capacity as you could be someone you create a partnership with and collaborate on a product or service to give your clients a well-rounded one-stop shopping experience (which will lead to even more happy customers!).
