How Can We Fight Back Diabetes?
When we are aged, many of us are suffered from different kind of metabolic and non-metabolic diseases. But most of them are related to metabolic disorders.
Metabolism is mainly defined as some total of reaction taking place in living system, considering anabolism and catabolism.
Catabolism: It is the degradative stage of metabolism in which large and complex nutrient molecules are degraded to yield smaller and simpler molecules, such as lactic acid, acetic acid, carbon di-oxide and ammonia.
Anabolism: It is mainly known as building up or enzymatic bio-synthesis of such molecules, components of cells as nucleic acid, proteins, poly-saccarides and lipids from simple building block precursor.
Now it's time to know that the very common metabolic disorders we face with our age.
These all are metabolic disorders, which are very common to us but they are caused due to our uncontrolled and unhygienic life style.
This time the discussion topic is Diabetics (Type 1 & Type 2)
Diabetics (Type 1 & Type 2):High glucose concentration in our blood results in diabetic. High glucose concentration in our blood may happen due to
The first two points will get the value, if there is no sufficient secretion of insulin hormone to convert the excessive glucose into glycogen for further usage.
The type one diabetesmellitus occurs due to the lac of insulin secretion from beta cells. The insulin therapy or administration of insulin hormone is found effective for type one diabetes.
The type two diabetes mellitus is occurred not for the lac of insulin secretion but due to the inactive insulin receptors on the target cells of insulin. The patients don't need the insulin therapy, because their beta cells are active enough to secret insulin.
Need to change Life Style:
The patientsneed to reduce their weight and have to work out regularly. Daily sweating can activate their insulin receptors to be used up by their insulin. This can reduce their weight as well as cure the type two diabetes.
In case of type one diabetes, the patient are tend to slim so, they don't need to do heavy work out but they have to control their diet with less amount of carbohydrate.
After effect of Diabetes (Diabetic Retinopathy):
Apart from obesity, the hyperglycemia not only result in diabetes, but it also result in diabetic retinopathy. Diabetic retinopathy is nothing but the retinal vasculature, which is caused due to some metabolic disorders and the disturbances in the red-ox (reduction-oxidation) state disturbances. If it is ignored, then this metabolic disorder caused by hyperglycemia may bring the blindness.
Conclusion:
We can reduce this kind of metabolic disorder (Diabetes) not only by the treatment but also by our daily life style, regular work out and restricted diet.
