New York City, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country, is well known for its historic and cultural sites and attractions such as Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, Times Square and Central Park. Aside from these attractions, there are other activities awaiting visitors in the Big Apple, especially for those hoping to spend a night on the town. - Rockefeller Center features an art deco-style observation deck called Top of the Rock. Located atop the General Electric Building, guests can enjoy panoramic views of the Empire State Building and Central Park. With three levels open for public access, the first level on the 67th floor is completely enclosed; the second one on the 69th floor has glass windshields; and the third access point on the 70th floor is open and offers a complete 360-degree view of the city skyline. Top of the Rock gives the famous Empire State Building a run for its money because of the spectacular view and shorter waiting periods. Guests can also enjoy a riveting ride to the top of the deck in an elevator adorned with a transparent ceiling.
