Article Tips - Writing Articles Relatable to the Reader
Nowadays, the typical web surfer will only give you 5 SECONDS to make a first impression.
What I mean by this is you need to grab your reader's attention within the first 5 seconds or else it's on to the next one.
Okay, you know and I know that an article reader will not get all the information he or she needs.
This is why you need to provide them with an opportunity to learn more just by going to your website.
How do you get them to click to your site? Think of your articles as a "Relationship Bridge" that fills the gap between you and the reader.
Below are some tips to help you get readers clicking to your website.
- Ask The Questions: you have to interact with your readers where you are talking to them not at them.
- KISS: this simple means, KEEP IT SIMPLE SILLY.
Keep your articles straight to the point and don't do too much because unnecessary writing will annoy your readers.
- Short Articles (250-500): short articles will help keep your reader's attention.
If you just provide your readers with just the important stuff then without a doubt you will get more traffic to your site.
- Strong Resource Box: you have to do more than just put your name, your companies name and a link.
You have to tell your readers to CLICK your link and WHY they should.
For instance say something like this: "If you want more information click here or to get your free e-book click here: (post your link).
" Never be afraid to tell your readers to click your link because if you don't close the deal who will? Be bold and announce your CALL TO ACTION.
