Seat Removal

• Park your motorcycle on a level surface. Turn off the engine and leave it in gear to prevent accidental rolling.
  
  Locate the bolt at the rear of the saddle base and remove the bolt. Depending on your options, this may require the use of a socket wrench or may be done by hand.
  
  Firmly grasp the saddle assembly once the bolt is removed. Lift the rear, then gently pull back and away to dislodge the seat from the housing where the saddle and fuel tank come together. Be mindful not to scratch the chrome or painted surfaces.
