March 20-22: Savor Dallas


What: Savor the flavor of the most delicious food and wine festival in Texas with the 9th annual Savor Dallas, March 20-22, 2014. The celebration of wine, food, spirits and the arts spotlights a new downtown venue for the Friday night wine stroll. The largest premium wine and food event in Texas features cuisine from over 60 of the area’s top chefs and more than 400 premium wines, spirits and beers at its events throughout the weekend. The new Perot Museum of Nature and Science is the site for Friday's traditional “Wine Stroll." March 15: Celebrate St. Patty's Day!


There are parades, events, parties and DFW's best Irish Bars! Get your green on and pinch those who aren't feeling the luck 'o the Irish on this day.

You can take the DART Rail (RED or ORANGE LINE) from your local home station to St. Patrick's Day Parade at Lower Greenville Avenue, take off the rail at Park Lane or Lovers Lane Station.

March 29-30: Arts in the Square


Arts in the Square 2014 is a juried Fine Arts festival featuring some of the best national and regional artists selling their original creations. Ongoing performing arts, interactive art activities for children, live music and great food offerings from award winning restaurants on site make this a festival everyone can enjoy.

When: March 29-30, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

March 23: Rock 'n Roll Dallas Half Marathon


What: Rock 'n Roll Dallas Half Marathon. Starting at City Hall more than 13,000 runners will participate in this 13.1 mile race benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

When: Sunday, March 23, 2014. Register online.

Where: Race starts at Dallas City Hall

Entertainment: Headliner is American Authors.
