What specific incident got you into "blank"? You fill in the "blank".
This question gets the interviewee talking about a specific incident that triggered them to get into their field that they are talking about.
Everyone has a specific incident.
It opens up the communication between the interviewer and the interviewee.
The interviewee is connecting to the participants as a real person who had a real incident that turned his/her life around or got them into their specific field.

What is your greatest achievement? Another connecting question for the interviewee to connect with the participants.
This is a moving towards question.
When you are asking "What is your greatest achievement?", you are moving the participants towards the interviewee.
3.
What are 3 - 4 biggest mistakes people make when "blank"? Another fill in blank again with the subject on hand.
This is a moving away question.
The better question is "What are 3 - 4 biggest mistakes you have made in "blank"? Most of the time the interviewee will answer that the 3 - 4 biggest mistakes he/she have made.
This question gets the participants to listen closely to the speaker so they don't make the same mistakes that the interviewee has made.
Most people relate to mistakes.
This is one of the connecting questions that has people wanting to hear more.
