Pay more than the minimum amount required. While this may sound painful to the wallet, it will do a lot in alleviating your debt and making sure that your credit history doesn't go down the toilet. Look for the card that has the lowest interest rate, and transfer some of the funds from a higher interest rate card into that one. Of course, you will need the permission of the credit card company to do this, but most of them allow it anyway. If the bill is too big to fit into the limit, pay off the minimum amount on all your credit cards and then put as much of the remaining as you can on the credit card with the lowest interest.

Your last option can always be to borrow from either a family member or a friend that you trust. Although you may be wary about borrowing money from friends or family, there is always a way to solve that. You can make sure to put that agreement in writing, so that the agreement is binding; and that way, you get to protect your relationship with that person.
