McCulloch Electric Chipper Specifications
- McCulloch manufactures a variety of different products in addition to its chainsaws. These other products include tractors, snow throwers, trimmers, blowers and chipper/shredders. Of the chipper/shredders McCulloch features two models: the MCS2003 and the MCS2001.
- The engine on both the MCS2001 and the MCS2003 possess a peak power output of 2.5 horsepower. The MCS2001 produces 14 amps with an induction motor whereas the induction motor on the MCS2003 puts out 15 amps. The MCS2003 has a three-cycle shredding and mulching process.
- The MCS2003 and MCS2001 are equipped with a patented top hopper design, according to McCulloch. The maximum cutting diameter of the MCS2003 equals 1 1/2 inches as opposed to the 1 3/5 inches of the MCS2001 model. A tamper is included with both models to safely feed the materials into the chute of the chipper.
- Wheel size on the MCS2003 measure 6 inches and the blade is an H-type. On the MCS2001 the blade is a V-type and the wheels measure 7 inches. The larger wheels make it easier to move the chipper from place to place while the multiple cutting surfaces of the H-type blade provides the finer cut to the output material.
