Ford Iosis Specs
- The Ford Iosis X made its debut at the 2006 Paris Auto Show. The Iosis X debut was a crossover vehicle, showcasing Ford's new design concept. Characterized by flowing lines and contoured trapezoids, the Iosis X design was not intended to be representative of an actual production model, per se, but to serve more as a peek into the future of ford design.
- Under the hood of the model 2009 Iosis Max concept car, you'll find a 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine with a Ford Ecoboost Straight 4 configuration. This fuel-injected turbo engine puts out 180 horsepower and ties it to a Ford Powershift six-speed automatic transmission.
- While no version of the Iosis concept car has been put into production, design cues that debuted with the Iosis are starting to work their way into production vehicles. In the United States, the most visible nod to the Iosis comes from the 2011 Ford Fiesta. In Europe, it can be seen in the Ford Kuga and Ford S-Max.
