How to Use a Nintendo DS Fire Card
- 1). Insert the Fire Card into the DS game card slot.
- 2). Insert the Fire Link into the Gameboy Advance game card slot.
- 3). Plug the Fire Link into one of your computer's USB slots using the provided cable that came with the Fire Card kit. Your computer will automatically recognize the Fire Link as a USB memory stick or flash drive.
- 4). Boot up your Nintendo DS. Select the "USB Mode" option.
- 5). Browse through the folders contained on the Fire Link on your computer. Ignore the "System" folder; the "NDS" folder is where you will find any game saves.
- 6). Copy and paste any game saves from the Fire Link folder onto your computer to protect them from loss. Download game saves from video game websites and drop them into the "NDS" folder to use them in your games.
- 7). Disconnect the USB cable from the Fire Link to take your game saves with you on the go. Replace the Fire Card with a Nintendo DS game to access your saves from the Fire Link.
