Well, Audi has achieved its 2 millionth sale in the United States and is on the cutting edge of auto technology, so what's in store for Audi buyers in 2011? Much, much more according to your Wilton Audi A4 dealer and those within the auto industry.

With the auto industry in recovery mode, Audi is ready for the challenge of standing up to its competitors in the luxury market and plans some fun and innovative models for 2011. The German automaker has some sporty new models in the works as well as improvements on classic favorites.

Although things are still hush-hush about the A7Sportback, auto industry experts say it's likely to show up as a low-slung, rather sculpted vehicle and that buyers would have a choices of engines ranging from the 3.0-liter V6 to the 4.2-liter V8. Some people are even holding their breath for a turbodiesel option. If it does become available next year, expect mid-year debut with a price of about $56,000.

One highly-anticipated European model, the RS5, will finally be available in the U.S. next year. With its 444-horsepower V8, this coupe will be popular and customers of a Wilton used Audi will want a peek at it. It will be released in limited numbers, so plan on getting in line now and plan on writing a big check as it will go for about $75,000.

The flagship of the fleet, Audi's A8 is even getting a makeover this year and it's about time. The model has been little-changed in seven years. This classic will keep its opulent interior and all-wheel drive but will boast several new technologies and gadgets, be slightly larger and have a more unique, pleasing exterior. It also will set you back about $75,000, but for long-time fans will no doubt be worth the money without a blink.

Wilton Audi A4 buyers will be excited about the 2011 Audi Q7, a large SUV with a TDI V6 engine that is efficient. For drivers who want more power and don't mind a slightly higher fuel bill, the 3.0-liter TFSI supercharged V6 is the option they will want. With 333 horsepower it will be in the showroom later this year and cost a reasonable $46,900.

To better compete with the likes of BMW, Audi has added models like the TT, which has its own brand of styling and a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Wilton used Audi customers will appreciate everything about this model. Not only will this model be competitive, but it's also superbad and affordable. Available later this fall, the Audi TT will have a price in the $38,000 range - perfectly acceptable for a basic luxury car, especially for a first-time luxury buyer.
