Good health is of vital importance for survival and quality of life.
Nourishing your body with the proper nutrients is the only way to achieve optimal health.
Too often we do not want to commit to lifestyle changes that will ensure good health but deprive us of the junk foods we like to eat.
Losing weight fast is not the answer to good health or permanent weight loss.
If your diet consists mostly of processed junk foods that are high in hydrogenated oils and refined sugars, you need to make lifestyle changes if your goal is permanent weight loss and good health.
Dieting does not work - especially if your diet consists of these bad foods.
A diet highly concentrated with processed foods simply means that you are starving yourself by eating less of these bad foods.
Once you go back to consuming the quantities you normally would, you will gain the weight back again.
You must replace the bad foods with good foods in order to achieve a permanent goal.
Ways to lose weight fast will typically lead to more weight gain in the end.
I changed my lifestyle because of a degenerative health condition.
My goal was not to lose weight but to regain my health.
In the process, I lost 50 lbs.
I am not hungry nor do I have the cravings that I once had.
I made specific eliminations to my diet and replaced the bad foods with healthy ones.
By doing so, I stopped eating processed junk foods, refined sugars, and refined grains.
Basically, I cut out boxed and packaged foods.
I replaced these foods with fresh, organic produce, whole grains, nuts and legumes.
By making these changes, the weight fell off.
It was not a matter of the quantity of foods, but the quality.
A nutritious calorie versus a junk food calorie that is devoid of nutrition does make a difference.
When you begin to eat the right foods, your body stops craving the bad foods it has grown dependent on eating.
Try cooking your meals from scratch.
By doing this you become very aware of is going into your foods.
While it may take longer, it is well worth the effort.
You will be giving the gift of improved health to your family.
There are so many great spices and herbs that you can add to your food that will not only taste good, but they will provide healthy antioxidants in your meals.
If you choose to consume animal products, choose meat and dairy products that are free-range and organic.
Knowing what the food you eat was fed is so important.
A healthy animal means a healthier you.
It is not productive to lose weight fast without considering what you are putting into your body.
Health is our greatest asset.
Change your lifestyle to improve your health and weight loss will follow!
