    • 1). Eat a large breakfast. Explorethemagic.com recommends filling your stomach before you enter the gate at Disney World. Some Disney resorts offer a free breakfast buffet that you can take advantage of, so that you do not get too hungry while enjoying your day at the park. If you arrive with a full stomach, a few snack foods may suffice when lunch time comes.

    • 2). Bring a bag lunch. Disney does not prohibit you from bringing your lunch with you. This will save you the entire cost of purchasing lunch at Disney World. You can also bring a bottle of water and refill it for free at the water fountains located throughout the park. That will save you money on drinks.

    • 3). Purchase one of Disney's refillable plastic mugs. You only have to pay for it once. After that, you can have it filled all day long for no additional charge. This may be the best choice for children or adults who do not like water.

    • 4). Share a meal. Disney World restaurant portions are known for being large. One adult meal can likely feed two adults. This alone will cut the cost of your food in half.

    • 5). Eat from the children's menu. The portion sizes will be just right, and it costs less than buying an adult meal. This is a good option for saving money on your food, especially if you don't want to carry a bag lunch.
