You Know Richard Nixon is Sure Looking Like a Great Man After the Elliot Spitzer Ordeal
Everyone who has ever been involved in politics knows that campaign groups are constantly after each other, attacking, playing sneaky underhanded games.
Richard Nixon got caught in something that happens a lot.
Indeed, Richard Nixon did a lot for this nation, much of our Foreign Policy today is in a better place because of him.
He may even through his various World Trips prevented WWIII, but we will never know for sure.
I must say although Richard Nixon was disgraced as the President, he was an honorable man who very much cared about this great nation.
He would have done anything for this country.
In contrast, we now see Elliot Spitzer, a legal eagle and attorney general of New York who claimed to be the epitome of truth, justice and the American Way.
But, as they say you can only fool all the people some of the time.
He fooled his wife and the voters who trusted him.
He attacked and brought down some very good Americans.
Did you know that Dick Grasso saved the US economy from economic collapse? Can you imagine another depression, well it never happened thanks to Dick Grasso.
Elliot Spitzer extorted money from Wall Street and some of America's greatest corporations, often without proof, settling out of court rather than having their brand names and personal character drug through the mud.
And in the end we find the man who would be king was nothing more than a "john" buying sex to the tune of $80,000 worth of prostitutes over a 10-year period, during the same time his office put people in jail, competing prostitution rings.
You know Richard Nixon was an honorable man, but I will not say the same for Elliot Spitzer.
Indeed, No One in the business world or in the state of New York seems to be standing by Elliot Spitzer's side now, are you surprised, cause I am not.
