Restless, Untamed, Always In Motion - PS Vita Is Out Soon and It"s Region Free!

Why do we love the Sony PlayStation Vita? Simple.
When you're always on the move, your gadgets and gizmos need to keep up.
The single, defining quality of our era is its speed.
If there were one symbol to give face to this triumphant zeitgeist, with its high velocity rate of change and impatient scientific advancements, it would be the lightning bolt, hard, expressionistic and intense.
Nowadays there doesn't seem time to indulge in anything that doesn't yield immediate and spectacular results.
In accordance with the restless spirit of this age of invention, technology has become portable and phrases such as 'on the go' have leapt from the mouth of advertising doublespeak and into the lexicon of daily life, becoming a mantra for those with no time to spare.
Can you imagine Michelangelo painting the Sistine chapel in 2011? No, me neither.
He'd have Photoshopped it the night before and simply made a massive screen print.
It would have been done before lunch and he'd have gone off to his next meeting by then.
Don't worry though; he's on his mobile if you have any problems.
The Sony PlayStation Vita is such a perfect example of this era's technology that it feels almost precision-engineered to survive and proliferate in our harsh climate of upgrades, ideas and breakneck upheaval.
Like the first creature in the Cambrian ocean to develop eyes, the Sony PlayStation Vita is second only to the Apple iPod as an entertainment peripheral perfectly attuned to a turbulent modern lifestyle that sired it.
We love video games in this century; we're addicted to them.
So addicted, that we're surely (and hopefully) paving the way for immersive gaming revelations of the level of the Holodeck as seen in Star Trek.
The rate of growth for these new forms of entertainment has been so rapid that your eyebrows will likely catch fire if you try to watch it go past.
The Sony PlayStation Vita speaks directly to this discourse, because, although it isn't the most advanced gaming system out there, it is portable.
In a world characterised (even defined) by movement, when a restless, untamed, ever-in-motion generation wants entertainment, they want it to go with them.
Its no good having a heavy PS3 at home when you're always 'on the go'.
No, you want a plug-in-and-play experience that offers you all the excitement of modern gaming, including graphics, sound and maddeningly complex game engines, but you need it to move.
Better yet, you need it to run, and run fast.
In 2011, we're living life at an incredible speed, the old is new and the new is old because nobody has the time to make the distinction.
The meaning of everything and nothing has been indelibly blurred in the race to make sense of ourselves.
We take our books, music, games and culture like we take our coffee: to go.
We're the lightning bolt kids.
We're the fast-forward generation.
We work hard and we play hard.
And we like to play the Sony PlayStation Vita.
