WOW Webinars 2010
In August of last year, The National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) announced that they would be offering a series of "Webinars on Wednesdays" (WOW). I wrote about these webinars back then. I thought WOW was a wonderful idea. It allowed those of us without the time or money to attend conferences, the opportunity to attend and participate in seminars about gifted kids - virtually.
WOW is back.
NAGC has announced the seminars for the 2010 series. Topics for this WOW series include topics for teachers and parents of gifted kids, such as those on talented readers and on creativity. The sessions are no longer free, though. They will cost anywhere between $29 and $59 per session, depending on a couple of factors, which can be found in the registration information on the WOW page.
After the session you registered and paid for is over, you can access the WOW archived session for free. That means if for some reason you were unable to attend the session, you can still learn from what took place. You could also go back to review what took place during the session in case you forgot something!
WOW seminars, which are an hour long, are held on Wednesdays at 7 pm Eastern time. Check out the details on the WOW page and be sure to register as early as possible since "seats" are limited.
