Hello my fellow Fundraisers, Once again with an article that has been long overdue.
Hundreds of wonderful groups raise money for their charity of choice each year in the workplace and I have always believed we need to simplify the process because we are all so darn busy! Let's face it, we all cringe a little when Doris shows up with that box of candy bars we don't need "or want" but we feel that uncomfortable obligation to buy.
It's not that we don't want to help out, we just don't want the candy bar or the stress of wondering if the boss is watching while we take part on his or her time.
The great news is Online Fundraising is finally here which will take care of all these problems.
It's fun, it's quick and most of all NO MORE PRODUCT to bring to work.
How does it work? So glad you asked.
It's as simple as this.
The person in charge of handling the campaign logs in and creates an account online.
They send out a message to everyone in the office explaining why they are raising money.
Everyone in the office sends out email requests to their family, friends and circle of influence regardless of where they live in the Country! Everyone who participates gets a great gift.
Everyone who donates gets a great gift.
This becomes an annual drive and can be customized upon request.
